LG Optimus 2 X (Star) will officially confirmed 1080p video recording

LG is just an annoyance-it took a few leaks and a sort of official announcement, but it is finally confirming some of the specifications for the LG Optimus 2 X 10-2 dual-core Processors Tegra processor at 1 GHz, 1080p video recording and Froyo are going, but still missing some other specifications.

On Tuesday, while announcing LG Optimus Mach LU3000, LG made a veiled mention of LG Optimus 2 X (previously rumored to Star). Now, they issued a press release appropriate, confirming the most interesting parts of specifications rumors.

The LG Optimus 2 X is the first GSM Tegra2-powered smartphone ever and dual-core Cortex 9 actually showed in early benchmarks. The SoC NVIDIA also allows Full HD (1080p) playback and recording via main 8MP camera.

The HDMI port on Optimus 2 X can output full HD video (unlike the current phones, top, 720 p) and DLNA supported can play video on a TV without a compatible cable or alternatively pull video from a Server DLNA home.

Other specifications include a 4 confirmed "WVGA screen, a 1. secondary video calling 3MP camera, some value 8 gigs of storage, a microSD card slot and a 1, 500mAh (drums). Here's hoping the tegra 2 x LG Optimus 2 isn't twice as power-hungry as single core CPUs.

Finally, the operating system has been confirmed also-the Optimus 2 X throws with Android 2. 2 Froyo and eventually will be upgraded to 2.3 bread. Dimensions of the phone, GSM bands and some other specifications are still to be announced.

The LG Optimus 2 X will launch next month in South Korea (as LG SU660) and available West to Asia and Europe after that (but was not provided no exact date). The schedule for updating the bread will be announced later too.
